As the Army’s preventive maintenance monthly, PS Magazine is distributed to all organizations within the military which are registered as maintenance shops for vehicles, aircraft, firepower, electronics, or other weapons systems. Using a comic book format, PS provides a very valuable supplement to the official maintenance documentation found in the TMs, TBs etc. The publication is available to non-active military online or subscription through the PS web site. Making PS Magazine available on a mobile device would increase the awareness of proper maintenance procedures for Army personnel. It would also benefit the Army’s recruiting efforts by demonstrating the Army’s proactive use of emerging technologies. Most importantly, creating a mobile application for PS Magazine would extend the Army’s ability to provide critical information to soldiers in the field about maintaining the Army’s equipment.
