Use a VBA function to populate list controls with names of months

Populating a combo or list box with the months of the year isn’t difficult. You can type the literal names as the control’s row source or use the MonthName() function in a simple VBA For loop.

When displaying months in a control on a userform (Excel and Word), use the following code to populate a list control named cboMonths with the names of the months:

You can use similar code to populate a list control in Access, but use the form’s Load or Open event as follows:

Be sure to set the list control’s Row Source Type to Value List (in Access).

PasteCatcher runs a Bonjour client that copies text or image from your Macintosh clipboard to the iPhone pasteboard.

To use this application, please install a pasteboard server from http://ericasadun.com/ftp/pb.

The desktop pasteboard server is called PasteServer. Install it into your /Application folder, run it, and start the server by clicking "Start Pasteboard Server". This starts the Bonjour service used by the PasteCatcher application.

The command line pasteboard server is called pbserver. When run at the Mac command line, (i.e. via the Terminal application), it hosts the same Bonjour service used by this application.

Use either the desktop server or the command line server but not both at once.

Usage:
* With the server running, copy text (from TextEdit or Mail, for example) or an image (from the Preview application, for example) on your Macintosh.
* Launch the iPhone application.
* The iPhone app queries the Mac server and copies the current clipboard text or image to the iPhone.
* Once received, the application reports the number of bytes pasted and the type of data sent.
* Press the home key and navigate to the application you want to paste into.
* Use the standard iPhone paste feature to access the pasteboard data. For example, you could paste text into Notes or pictures into Email.

This release exclusively supports text and image pastes.

Description:

The eight queens puzzle is the game of putting chess queens on a chessboard such that none of them is able to capture any other using the standard chess queen's moves. The queens must be placed in such a way that no two queens would be able to attack each other. Thus, a solution requires that no two queens share the same row, column, or diagonal.

There are multiple levels (or boards) in this game. The game starts with an easy level (or board of 4×4). You have to place 4 queens on a 4×4 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. Similarly on the 5×5 board, you have to place 5 queens. In 6×6 board, you have to place 6 queens and so on.

Level 1: Board 4×4. You have to put 4 queens on a 4×4 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. (2 puzzles in this level)
Level 2: Board 5×5. You have to put 5 queens on a 5×5 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. (10 puzzles in this level)
Level 3: Board 6×6. You have to put 6 queens on a 6×6 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. (4 puzzles in this level)
Level 4: Board 7×7. You have to put 7 queens on a 7×7 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. (40 puzzles in this level)
Level 5: Board 8×8. You have to put 8 queens on a 8×8 board so that none of the queens can attach each other. (92 puzzles in this level)

The game starts with placing one hint queen on the board. You have to place other queens on the board to solve the puzzle.

Tapping a tile will select or de-select it. (Place a queen on that tile or remove a queen from that tile)

You cannot remove the first queen that was placed as a hint on the board.

The game will save the last played puzzle, so next time when you start the application, it will bring back your last played puzzle and you can continue from there.

Double tapping anywhere else will show or hide the top & bottom information bars.
