Error “Invalid binary file” when you update AVG Anti-Virus

From my expierence this has nothing to do with the software or your computer.  If you are on a corporate network or using a public internet connection.   It is very likely that the website you are trying to access is being blocked.

Your corporate Websense policy might block “Computer Security” under is policy settings.  Ask your IT guys to unblock thie category because it possible that your company anti-virus is out-of-date.
