Are you aware that Outlook has the capability to delay delivery of an individual message? So if you are going to be out of the office the next day or for several days, you can prepare a message to be sent while you are out.

Here are the steps:

  • Create and address your new message in the usual way.
  • Click on the Options button, and a Message Options window will appear
  • In the Delivery options section, click on the Do not deliver before checkbox
  • Then select the delivery date and time you want the message to be sent

Click on the Send button, and your message will be sent to the Outbox folder to await delivery on the specified date and time.
