Have you ever wanted to quickly change a document from single-spaced to double-spaced?  Sure, you can select the text, go to the Format menu, and choose Paragraph. Then all you need to do is go down to Line Spacing and make it Double, right?

But instead you might want to try this nifty little trick.  Select all the text you want to double-space (Ctrl+A for the whole document) and then all you need to do is hit Ctrl+2 – and voila, your text is now double-spaced.  Change your mind?  Not a problem – just select the text again and hit Ctrl+1 and you are back to single spacing.
